Releases for Image FUpload

This release of Image FUpload corresponds with the RC1 release of FileField/ImageField. Please don't forget to upgrade ImageField, FileField and Image FUpload (RC1 versions) at the same time.

Image FUpload now supports both ImageField (CCK) and Image module. Check it out.
Also the preview list was improved a lot. Taxonomy is also supported in preview list now, additional optional CCK fields support will soon follow in an update.

Important note

If you upgrade from a 2.x version, don't forget to replace all files in the subdirectory "swfupload" with the corresponding files which can be downloaded at http://code.google.com/p/swfupload/ (SWFUpload-Core v2.2.0.Beta5.zip).
If you're not sure if the files have been replaced successfully, have a look at status report.

Don't forget to run UPDATE.PHP after having updated the module files.

The new (alpha) version of Image FUpload is out ... yeah!

• + #325845: Flash 10 support (grandcat) Support for Flash 10 added. Note that you have to download again all files from the project page of swfUpload, this is very important otherwise it doesn't work. If you are not sure whether the right files were downloaded & replaced, have a look at status report.
• + New cool "Select Images" button (icon) as a flash movie. Since Flash 10, a flash movie button has to be taken instead of a JavaScript control button to make it work, so I decided to design a cool one. Check it out ;)
• # #314531: Preview not working with private file system (patch included) (ktatruc) Image Preview list didn't work if filesystem was set
  to private.

This is an beta release, that's true. Nevertheless, it should be quite stable, but not sure. I had to publish this new release because Adobe published officially its Flash Player Version 10 which was incompatible with swfUpload 2.1.0.

Now, it's time for the first release candidate. A lot of minor bugs were fixed and it works quite stable.

• + #287699: Editing of image node fields before submitting (ryooki) added ability to show a list of all uploaded images after upload. Additionally, all its fields (title & body) can be edited for all uploaded images all at once. Great feature. Please note that it has to be activated per user role.
• + more possibilities with granting permissions per user role [mass uploading images, edit captions (<-- preview list)]
• # #292434: CCK Field values weren't observed correctly (great thanks to HnLn) some CCK Field values weren't observed correctly when node was created
• # #297805: Preview Image Preset must be changed once to get previews. (no imagecache) (royce) Preview Image Preset was not set correctly during install time,
  so no preview images were shown.
• # #294222: IMAGE_NOT_COMPLETED shows on images when body is omitted in the image content type (HnLn) IMAGE_NOT_COMPLETED tag shows on images when body is omitted in the image content type. Problem is when body field is cleared in the content type settings for image.

It's right, the new release 1.1 (already beta 2) is online now. A lot of things have been changed, improved and added.
Although it's still beta, it's very recommend to update. Please don't forget to run update.php .

Yeah, the first PreRelease of Image FUpload is online now. It seems to function as expected, but it's still alpha, so it would be better if it weren't used in production environment by now.
