Uninstall Instructions No Longer Accurate

The INSTALL file has the instructions for removing this module, cleanly:

UNINSTALL
You can remove all traces of OG Galleries by going to admin/settings/og_galleries
and selecting the tab that says 'Remove'. That will NOT delete the content that
was placed into the galleries, but will remove all links to any gallery.

This is no longer relevant. There is not a "Remove" tab. The feature should be in the Administer > Site Building > Modules > Uninstall anyway. So, how does one cleanly uninstall the module? It's not working for me the way I'd hoped and I want to try something else.
