Hi,

I'm trying to set the titles of my panel pages with the arguments thats been passed to it.

I've been searching through the site to look for resources and I've followed the instructions for assigning the arguments to the title. But my titles are behaving weirdly and I don't know why.

When I created the panel page for my taxonomy title,
- I had specified the argument as taxonomy ID and set the argument %term in every available field that requests for displaying the title.
- On the content side, I had specified 1 block to display which shows the nodes that have been classified under that taxonomy term.

When i was viewing the pages, if that particular term has nodes under it, the title that would show on the page would be '%term'
But if there is no nodes under that term, the title would display correctly. It displays the actual title.

I'm not sure what's causing this problem and what I've done wrong.

Hope someone will be able to help me on this.

regards,
Jamie

It sounds like the problem is that you haven't set the other half of the %term keyword, potentially on the context page. But titles are a real morass right now, anyway. Could you provide me with some more details about exactly what your setup is? I don't have quite enough to do much more than guess with what you've provided.

Hihi,

Thanks so much for the reply.

I'll try to list out step by step what I had done.

- I created a panel page and called it 'category_home', page title = "%term", path = "category"
- On the context page, I selected "taxonomy term" as an argument and set the default to "Ignore", Title to "%term", Identifier to "Taxonomy Term" and Keyword to "term", Argument type to "Term Name".
- On the layout settings page, for both the Default layout and the Taxonomy Term 1 pages, I had set the page title to "%term"
- And then finally on the content page, for both the Default layout and the Taxonomy Term 1 pages, I added in 2 blocks.

After doing all that, my page titles started to go weird on me.

Hope this is enough info to help.

regards,
Jamie

Is this still an issue? If so, please set it back to active. If not, please close it. Be aware that merlinofchaos is busy with 6.x so re-opening it is no guarantee it will get answered.
