I am planning setting up a multilingual photo site. I'd prefer using Drupal6 but as far as I have noticed there arenb't any image moduls supporting IPTC except Menalto gallery (which I don't like). Did I miss anything or do I have to use Drupal 5 if I want to have IPTC supoort for the image module (or similar)?

this is an old forum post, but for those still looking for an answer: you will have to wait

there are several issues requesting image metadata support
for instance:
#275010: IPTC in Drupal 6
#275793: IPTC Fields support...
#352504: Support for IPTC

also check out these modules:
maqum
iptc
exif

until now maqum has a D5 release
meanwhile iptc and exif have no release at all
