Just trying out this module on a Drupal 6.3 vanilla install.

In the documentation it states:

Also select the options "Check for duplicates on all feeds" and "Refresh feed on creation".

The first option doesn't appear to be present when creating the "Feed Item" Content Type.

This is a false alarm. Having installed the other FeedAPI modules to treat feeds as nodes, I am able to see the option above. The documentation wasn't as precise so changing this issue to reflect it.

Maybe also add a dependency on FeedAPI Node?

You're right. The documentation should be better. Plus there should be the dependency of FeedAPI node as well. This is why it's nice to have bug testers. When I wrote the documentation, everything was clear as could be. . . in my eyes anyways.

I've fixed the documentation / module dependencies for the next dev/alpha release.
