I checked that potx 5.x version has a functionality to extract menu item strings from D6 modules.
But it does not extracted the menu strings. Tried to extract css_injector-6.x-1.2 with
l10n-server-5.x-1.x-dev (l10n_localpacks) (2008-Jul-11)
potx-5.x-1.x-dev (2008-Mar-26)

Do I need to configure something to have menu strings extracted from a D6 module?

Does the l10n_server extraction error page display errors for this module? The css_injector_menu() code for Drupal 6 seems to be quite standard to me, so there should not be an error to extract those strings.
