Conflict with i18n module

Hi

I am having a problem using xspf with i18n module which inserts a two letter Country Code into URLs. My Player is able to find the Playlist without a Problem, but the Playlist then points to a File at http://mysite.com/en/files/song.mp3 but the song is at http://mysite.com/files/song.mp3

I would appreciate any kind of pointers you could give me ... I'm not much of a coder but I am willing to try any suggested hacks you might have for me ...
