Patches for worthy issues!

As we gear up to go RC1 and perform the D6 port, there are a number of outstanding issues that really are worthy of attention, but the Panels devs are pretty stretched and could use some help. I'm opening this issue as a nice way of keeping track of them. If you want to help with Panels, this is one GREAT way to do it!
