Upgrade from 5.8 to 6.3 shows incorrect main page

Hi,

I am testing upgrading my site from 5.8 to 6.3 and I have found some issues. The biggest one, so far, is that the front page is displayed incorrectly.

In 5.8, when I go to the main page it shows only my first page (see http://www.duperval.com).

In my local installation, when I do the upgrade, the first page shows all of the recently updated pages from my site. This definitely not what I want.

What causes this?

It may be important to know that I use the i18n module in 5.x to allow switching from one language to the next. Maybe that has something to do with it, I am not sure.

Has anyone seen something like this? If so, how did you fix it?
