I am thrilled to have installed OGR and have begun trying it out.

Got the new "configure member roles" tab on the subscribed users page.

I am confused by the header message... "Here you can assign group roles to members. This will give that member permission of that role. It will apply to all posts of this group type."

I was under the impression that the group dependant roles would apply just within the group, not within a group "type". In my situation/usecase I may have 20 distinct groups of the group 'type" ...Learning_Group.

will the roles that I choose for an individual group member while I am within, say, Learning_Group_04 apply to that same user's role assignment in Learning_Group_05 if he is also subscribed to that group?

If not and the roles are truely group specific, then I would have expected the header message to say something like: "Here you can assign group roles to members. This will give that member permission of that role. It will apply to all posts within this group and will only apply to posts within this group."

Am I understanding this correctly? Is this actually what was intended?

Thanks

Sorry for the confusion. The role(s) assigned to a user in Learning_Group_04 only apply to that user while he is in Learning_Group_04. No other group -- unless, of course, you give the user the same role(s) in another group.

I have modified the code as you suggested.

Thanks.

Totally unrelated issue. Please open a new issue and provide more information on your install and configuration. Thanks.
