Hi there. I needed a block which displays a list of the expired nodes. The most flexible way of doing this was to write some Views integration, so that's what I've done. The attached patch provides a new Views filter, "Node: expiry date", and also a simple view which provides a block of expired nodes. Hope this is helpful.

since im the D6 version maintainer, i wonder if you can work on a D6+Views2 port. I would commit it right way.
