Correct method for dependant module community recognition?

imagistic - July 14, 2008 - 21:49

I am preparing a new module for submission to the Drupal community and I've made it dependant upon another user contributed module.

How do I properly cite my module to give recognition to thoose who have created the dependant module?

Thank you!

Just mentioning it on your project page

would be the best way IMO. I assume the technicalities of the dependency are taken care of in the modules .info file.

If you really wanted to gush over the other module and the people who wrote it, that's probably fine too. After all it is your project page :)

Yes, your correct, I have taken care of the technical dependency in the .info file.

I'll make the appropriate notes on the project page, thank you!
