Hello, if I understand correctly the openresort module is intended to create a web interface that allows users to search for, find, and book available rooms online. But for the life of me I can’t figure out how to set this so that my users can book the rooms while online. I have downloaded and installed all the necessary modules but I can’t figure out how to set it up so the rooms can be booked online. There is a note that says "PLEASE NOTE the download includes a patch file which needs to be applied to the ecommerce suite. Once this patch is applied ecommerce can no longer be used as a standard shopping cart solution." So I am wondering if there is something else I need to do to make the online booking work with the ecommerce module. If someone could shed some light on this for me it would be greatly appreciated.

I went ahead and reinstalled the site using the packaged openresort script provided at: http://www.openresort.org/project/OpenResort and it seems to work allot better and is much easier to figure out. If anyone is thinking of using this module you can save yourself allot of time and frustration by using the packaged module located at the OpenResort web site.

Its not finished yet but if anyone wants to see the site im building go to www.virginbeachresortcebu.com/site.

This is a great module but its new so there is bound to be a few growing pains here and there.

http://www.openresort.org/project/OpenResort this module is made for Drupal 5 But this is not working not in 5 or 6 Please tell me about drupal 6 module of online hotel booking .I want to create site for online hotel booking . I have installed public booking module but it not working properly. There is no search module in public booking that search available hotels between given dates .
I am very frustrated Please give me any idea if any body know

Hello, the agrservationmodule at http://drupal.org/project/agreservations
i am working on is for online and offline booking of rooms / resources
for a single hotel / business only. But for a search of multiple hotels you normally use something like venere or hrs anyway or?
My solution is for single hotels who want to manage their rooms and receive online and offline bookings and payments through
their website. Communication with with big online booking portals however can be implemented as the big onlinebooking portals have
xml interfaces...
