Yes :)
I think it's not an easy thing, but many application needs authentification. In AIR applications, we can't use browser cookies, so there can't be half solutions like in flex applications (where you can sign in via drupal, then use the cookie with flex)

I have posted on both Flex and Air projects using Services. The base flex project is here and there are just a few changes for an Air project here. This is a setup for Drupal 6.
