Hello,

First I want to say thank you for Fast Gallery. It is by far the easiest gallery to setup by far.

Here is an issue I have found:

I have created the following directory for my pictures:
sites/default/files/pictures

I want to organize them using folders only. I have created the following folders:
sites/default/files/pictures/family
sites/default/files/pictures/friends

If I do not have at least one photo in sites/default/files/pictures, it will not display the folders. If I place at least one photo in sites/default/files/pictures, it will display the folders.

I have also have tired (I don't know if Fast Gallery is designed to do this) to created sub-folders of pictures like:
sites/default/files/pictures/family/dad
