If you delete and recreate the uprofile cck type (created by this module), and then return to this module's Admin page, you will see that "User Profile" is not one of the checkboxes under "Select types to add edit tabs for". You must manually go into the uprofile cck definition and check "Use this content type as a nodeprofile for users".

This is normal behavior. Only nodeprofile enabled node types will show up on that list.

Maybe it's my misunderstanding then.
The reason I thought it might be a bug is that the first time I created the uprofile type, the checkbox "Use this content type as a nodeprofile for users" was checked automatically.
The second time, after I deleted and recreated the uprofile type, I had to check that box manually.

Anyway, it's working for me now!
