Set navigation visibility by role

Jay Matwichuk - July 16, 2008 - 09:07

In my nagivation menu, it shows 'create content -> forum topic' for authenticated users. However, I don't want create content or any of its submenus to appear for authenticated users, only for admins. Does anybody know a way I can administer individual navigation elements by role?

bumpiness.

If you remove all

If you remove all permissions except "Access Content" for the authenticated user role, they shouldn't see the "Create Content" link anymore in their navigation.

Thank you Gbrussel, and that

Thank you Gbrussel, and that would definitely work, but that was just an example, and I'm looking for a more complete solution. I want to be able to set the accessibility for each menu item for each role that I have. So 'Create content' could for example be set to visible for users type A and C, but not B and D, but change theme would be available for users type B and C etc.

The Menu Per Role module

The Menu Per Role module solves this problem.
