I am trying to figure out how to do 2 things in relation to Galleries using the least number of additional modules possible. I currently have the related modules installed: TinyMCE, IMCE, Image (image gallery, attach, advanced, import).

1) Insert a single Gallery into a Node showing single picture and text description (clicking image open up the whole gallery like the default functionality)

2) Show a list of galleries inside a block

Would the View module allow this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have surfed all over with no luch. Thanks!!

I'm also looking for a solution like this. Brilliant Gallery does something like this. It embeds the gallery into node through filter but it uses lightbox to display the images which I dont want... and there is no other way I can use this module... so I'm having less luck finding a suitable module that will allow me to insert gallery into my node. Any one else, any ideas?
