It is adding a "2" or a "3" after people's name and aliases.

If you import once, then import again with 'update', it doesn't actually update at all. It adds the same information again. So for example you'll have 2 first names and last names for everyone if you have 2 profile fields for that.

The users imported are not made active even if active is check off in the import options.

The users are not set to the given role checked off in the import options.

The organic groups are not listed when importing as another issue states.

This module is a real mess

I've included a lot of new features in this dev release because I needed them for a project. They all worked for me for the specific needs I had for the project. I've contributed this as a development version so that anyone with the same requirements can use it as it is, and others can help me to test for bugs, some of which only come up in situations I wouldn't have considered.

I appreciate help with testing and reporting bugs, but to be effective please create a separate issue for each bug, and if there's an existing case for a bug or feature please carry on the discussion on that insteading of starting a new issue.

Too many bugs reported in one issue, if any of these are still a problem in User Import 5.x-2.0-beta1 please open an issue for each one.
