Does anyone know of any commercial add-ons/modules for Drupal? If so please add them to this thread, with a link to where we can find out more.

I am eager to see what commercial products are out there, as I have been on the fence about using Drupal or not, and this may help me make the switch!

Please don't turn this into a Open Source vs Commercial thread. I personally am more than happy to pay for good quality products hence why I have started this thread in the first place :)

I don't believe there are many if any. a quick google search turned up nothing of interest. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1...

There are however, some modules in the downloads area that the dev's offer customized addon's to the modules and such. ie: Userpoints.module and I believe a few others.

Seems like a fabled beast, the commercial Drupal module. I've never actually seen one, but I've heard one (or some) exist. Commercial Drupal themes do exist, and you'd think they'd be ragingly popular, but no one appears to be creating and selling products and pricing strategies comparable to what you see at joomlashack, joomlart, or rockettheme--where themes often come packed with modules/extensions.

It obviously ruins one's opportunity to thrive that drupal.org is the main index and download site for modules. It's also hard to find things here from google. If/when this changes in the future, I'd expect a market to emerge that I'm surprised isn't already here. Part of the reason for that may be some unique traits in the Drupal culture that aren't inherently good or bad but have an influence on the horizons of what its members expect, or what needs and wants they articulate and how they articulate them.

There is a strong & heathly, give back to the project philosophy here at drupal.org. This philosophy has been part of the drupal project and the community as far back as I can remember.

:wondering out loud:
If commerical modules began popping up, I wonder how many community developers would put their talents to work creating similar GPL'd modules that either provided the same exact feature set, or that provided a stronger feature set. Allowing the community to benefit as a whole. Essentially making the commerical module obselete not long after it was discovered.
