Hello,
I haven't found any other reports of this, but it seems that since I upgraded the site I'm working on to V. 6.3, Lightbox2 is broken in both ie7 and FF (my client is not concerned with ie6). What happens is that instead of opening the lightbox overtop of the current page, it adds the overlay below the bottom of the current page, and then the image below that. I tried uninstalling the module, and reuploading and installing a fresh version, but that didn't help. I'm not really sure what else to look into at this point. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I just did a roll back to Drupal 6.2, and sure enought, Lightbox2 is working just fine again. So something in this new Drupal Update is breaking the module.

Hmmm I'm running Drupal 6.3 and the latest lightbox2 release on my test site with no problems. You may wish to upgrade to the latest dev release as it does contain a couple of bug fixes. However, I haven't heard of any issues like the one you're describing. Drupal 6.3 contains an updated version of jquery, but that shouldn't cause any problems. I can't think of what else it might be. Did you upgrade any other modules or themes at the same time?

Cheers,
Stella

It doesn´t work for me too. I´m runing Drupal 6.3 and Lightbox2-6.x-1.8

Also I get warnings like:

Parsed JavaScript file misc/textarea.js

file_get_contents(misc/textarea.js) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory en la línea 1642 del archivo /homepages/39/d229389696/htdocs/includes/locale.inc.

Parsed JavaScript file misc/collapse.js.

file_get_contents(misc/collapse.js) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory en la línea 1642 del archivo /homepages/39/d229389696/htdocs/includes/locale.inc.

So it looks that there are some issues on last jquery update.

iniurb: if that's the case, it's nothing to do with the lightbox2 module. Please log a support request against the jQuery Update module. Also before you, please ensure you copied *all* files from the jquery_update/misc/ directory to your Drupal misc/ directory, and not just the jquery.js file.

Cheers,
Stella

Marking as "won't fix" as haven't heard anything on the original issue posted by davpas in over a month.

iniurb: your issue sounds like a problem with jquery update (if installed) or with your upgrade.

Stella

Same problem here. Latest jquery, lightbox2-dev and drupal 6.3.
The overlay is shown beneath the content and the picture under that.

lars_p: please open a separate issue for your problem. Please also provide details on your lightbox2 configuration and a screenshot if possible. If you could also send me a link to your site, that would be very useful. My contact form is enabled if you wish to do so privately.

Cheers,
Stella
