Why has bluecurve been pulled?

Got this notice this morning:

Project not supported: This project is no longer supported, and is no longer available for download. Disabling everything included by this project is strongly recommended!
Does anyone know what happened? Thanks.

looks like the releases have been reset as there aren't any links on the project page, though they can still be downloaded through the view all releases link.
There was a revision to the project page on 7/11, the note below was added by the developer of the theme and looks to provide a clue.

Thanks... I went to his user page and there is no contact tab, unfortunately. Personally I find it to be one of the nicest themes available. I hope its not a security issue, as I would like to continue to use it.
