I would like to have a menu that works like the one at the Denver Post for my web site http://www.denverpost.com/

I have found modules that do drop downs, but none that open horizontally under the top horizontal nav.

Is there something out there or should I be CSSing this up and posting it for people?

I''m not aware of any modules that handle this (like nice menus does for drop downs), but the http://drupal.org/project/framework theme implements it-- maybe take a look at how it does it.
