I searched for testimonial module in the forums and internet but didn't find a single one. I'll be creating a testimonial page where I want to provide a simple forum for registered and anonymous users to post testimonials which will be set into review for administrator. Then it will be either deleted or approved. When approved it should show in the testimonial page with users name.

Is there something else that can do this work?

create a testimonials content type in adminsiter -> content types -> add tab
expand on the content type with the CCK.module and it's addons in the contrib download area.

use the modr8.module to moderator the testimonials

use views to create a list of these testimonials and present them in a block or a page

or
use panels or nodequeue to present these testimonals

thanks looks simple in your words. but for newbie like me it's head scratching.

I can never learn view,panels, cck. I tried everything........reading in drupal.org and internet but just couldn't get it. Is there any simple video for newbies that teaches basics of these things.........

over at drupaldojo.com there's a video called "module mashups" that I believe i found very useful for grokking views/panels. The site is down atm or I'd confirm that is the video I'm thinking of.

Hi WorldFallz,

I have created testimonial view as you suggested but its showing testimonial of all the users.
how can i limit it for the user means he can see his testimonial in his account.....like orkut.

please help me out.

Hi,

I think the best bet for you would be guestbook module drupal.org/project/guestbook User wont be able to see testimonial in their account, but its a good module
