Hi.

I have trouble now.
I installed taxonomy_access, but I can't setting for permission.

process:
1). download taxonomy_access-4.6.0.tar.gz from this site and unpack.
2). upload unpacked dir and files to /modules
3). taxonomy_access.mysql to my MySQL database and no error msg.
4). patched taxonomy.pacth to taxonomy.module and no error msg.
5). upload patched taxonomy.module to /modules
6). activate the module from "administer >> modules"
7). turn enable and push button "administer >> setting >> taxonomy_access"
8). show "administer >> access control" but I can't find "category permissions" tab.

Pls teach me how do I do for use taxonomy_access module.

I've had node_access break my site in several other ways, but this one I've never seen before. Check your logs... are you getting any odd error messages?

If you go to admin/access/category do you see the category permission page ?

Tostinni, yeah, I couldn't at first, but then I disabled, logged out, logged in, reenabled, checked the settings and it was there.
Or at least I think that's what I did, I don't recall perfectly now.

This error was bizarre, and was one of two that I've had lately. Recently intalled and configured modules simply not behaving nicely--first it was taxonomy_access then flexinode.

Logging out and logging didn't seem to resolve the issue. I don't know what was going on, I'm sad to say. It's weird that I can't replicate it now, either.

Maybe I'm crazy.

Anyway, things are humming dandily now.

It occurs to me that perhaps Drupal was caching some pages incorrectly, and perhaps the new modules didn't work properly until the cache got flushed.

... unless you want to just disable it. The cache is one of the things that is completely broken with Postgresql, so I've never even been able to enable it on my own site.
