Curious if anyone else has been double-billed by DVH. I put in a ticket that has been ignored for 3 days, but perhaps I should have expected that. Tech support replies during their recent slide have been much, much slower than before. Perhaps Amit is just giving up.

You should work with the
You should work with the hosting companies with Live Chat support, by which you can get immediate support without waiting for email.
And a 3 days wait for a response is really unacceptable in terms of their service.

Absolutely
This double-billing should be resolved already, but the amount of time its taken makes me think that Amit wants to keep the money. I didn't even authorize the Paypal subscription - that's the kicker. I expected Paypal invoices that I could pay manually. Thankfully, I'm only paying in 3 month increments so it's not as big a deal as someone paying a year or two in advance.
My next host does have live chat, and I'll have a full review at some point in the future.

My next host is reachable by phone as well. That was the one thing I liked about MediaTemple - actually helpful & responsive phone support.

The wheels have been in motion since that extended weekend outage - just had to wait for a couple of clients to find new homes. Unbelievable that this billing mistake/theft has not been resolved yet. Thankfully it's only $50 but it reflects very poorly on Amit and Drupal Value Hosting.
