I would like to use this module along with contemplate http://drupal.org/project/contemplate so that i can have multiple images in a single node.

If you want this feature, you have to contact the image module maintainer, this module only provides another way of uploading images to the server and processing them.
But I don't think so that this feature would be included. Nevertheless, I will soon integrate my module in CCK + ImageField, perhaps by using some additional modules, it will be possible to realize your idea =)
