I have a multisite setup, and as the documentation on this page recommends i have installed gallery2 core inside the site folder in sites (sites/localhost.d6test/gallery2). I have also tried this by installing gallery2 in drupal root and reinstalling as a multisite into my sites folder, recieved same error. Ive tried giving absolute locations also using 'C:\wamp\www\...etc' and 'http://localhost/d6test/sites...etc' .

In all occasions, browsing to the gallery2 installation folder embed.php is always there. Im going to keep trying to figure this out as I need the module and will post if i find anything...

I was installed the latest Gallery module (since some days from Drupal.org site) and Gallery 2.3 (with preinstall: http://www.rabinovich.org/G2/preinstaller-2.3-RC1.zip).
The module works normally now but i've got a 404 error when i want to go in an album...

Spacio are you using clean URL's. If you are look at your .htaccess file and see if there is some G2 stuff at the top.

bigmack83 have you tried using c:/wampp/... in the G2 file system path.

I have the same problem; there are thousands of drupal sites with gallery running perfectly, why cant someone come and tell us poor old non starters what to do; with so many people suffering the same stress, wouldnt you think gallery and drupal people would get together and sort us dummmies out, Id be so glad to contribute if they did, grasmi@talktalk.net
