External AND Internal site options

This is a great little module, makes very pretty widgets. I would like to request a feature which allows the inserting of a widget INTERNALLY rather than just on an external site. I think Panels does something like this, but so far, this seems a simpler version (and panels isn't ready for 6.x).

The effect would be this: when a user clicks on a link within the widget, the user is taken to the page itself, rather than to the link embedded within the widget. I.e., an option to turn off the "?embed_widgets_mode=1" feature which is appended to every link within the widget.
