Hi !
I'm writing a book with a section about Drupal.
Can i use the Drupal logo (http://cvs.drupal.org/viewvc.py/drupal/contributions/docs/marketing/logo...) on the cover of the book ?
Thanx,
Cyprien

questions that the material linked doesn't cover should be addressed to the drupal association.

From this URL: http://drupal.org/node/9068
I could see the following text, does it mean I can use the Logo on my Site ?

If you wish to use or edit the Druplicon, you can use following logos (all logos use RGB color):

I think this sentence is more important

The Druplicon image is licensed under the GPL License which covers all items on cvs.drupal.org.

to read the GPL License click on the link in the quote.

If you need clarification contact the drupal association as they are the only entity that can answer the questions you are posing and they (the members) may not see this forum thread.

Hello,

I was wondering the same question.

As I understood, there is no legal issue using Drupal logo in Drupal related websites.

Please, correct me if I am wrong!

Cheers,

Not the same question that the original poster is asking.

You do not have to have the drupal logo on your site.

Thank you for your reply!

Even it's a Drupal related website (a showcase for the best Drupal based website)?

You can use or not use the druplicon (drupal logo) as outlined in the marketing and licensing documentation already provided in the links above. Please read through them.
