Issue Summary
I've probably inherited this misc/compat-1.0.js file from an older version of JQuery...
But I don't know whether it's still useful or not?
If so, could you tell us since what version of JQuery is this file deprecated? (you may change the title accordingly, else I'll do so)
Many thanks in advance, and huge congrats for the stable 2.0 release! I can now upgrade to drupal 5.8 and the latest JQuery all at once! That a great step! Great package!

Anyone can tell me? I need to make our drupal site compatible with IE and other browsers, and I'd prefer to know that before hiring someone. It could save him and us a lot of time.
