this works great for pages and stories

but seems to be a nightmare for forums. is there anyway to turn on a "master switch", if you will, for user groups in forums. as it appears now each new forum post and thread has to be granted access. it would be much easier if the system knew anytime a thread was made or a post ALL users with in certain groups with granted access thru the "master switch" were allowed access too it.

in my particular case, i have 4 user groups. lvl1 - lvl4. i want lvl 1, 2 and 3 to see threads and post and the creators of that content not be bothered always remembering to grant access to those groups. advice? or am i going about something wrong.
