I have not thoroughly tested it yet, because I don't have the proper permissions. Feedback on whether it actually works or not is welcome.

Howeever, it doesn't seem to work. I do get an indicator showing me that the user's account is active and a place to change that, but when I click the field changes to "working" and after awhile changesback with no perceivable change.

This is a greasemonkey script to block users from the http://drupal.org/profile/interest/* pages.
