is there any function like drupal_install_profile() in drupal 6?

Hello,

i want to install drupal 6 from my module in one site for tha i have to run drupal6's install.php and install profile from the my module in main site ..

so any one can help me to do this i have also tried this http://groups.drupal.org/node/8730?destination=node%2F8730 code but its not working...

Please help me to do this in drupal 6
