I have disable the faq linking to nodes and created categories (taxanomy) for faq. When I make a search with the keywords that is present in the faq page it will not show main /faq page but will show node pages /content/how-can-i-use-your-website like this. It should actual show only /faq.

stella commentedThis is not possible as the "/faq" page is generated on the fly from the faq nodes. The search utility is only able to search nodes, not pages like "/faq". It won't be possible to implement this feature either I'm afraid.
Cheers,
Stella

himagarwal commentedOk. Then only solution would be to disable the indexing of faq nodes from search?
Is there any module which disable the indexing of content types and taxanomy from search, if you know?
--- Thanks for quick reply. ---

stella commentedHmmm I'm not aware of any. It doesn't mean that there is none, but it's just something I haven't looked into. Check the search config page, and maybe the contributed modules list. Failing that you could always ask on IRC.
Cheers,
Stella
