Update to drupal 6?

Just curious if there are any plans to update this module to drupal 6.

On a whim, I tried a quick port from 5.x-1.2 to 6.x. I was able to get the module into 6.x but it basically does nothing. You can create a content type with an addnode nodereference field, but the addnode form does not show up on node creation. Maybe I'm just missing something, but I have a very solid suspicion that this is directly related to the CCK rewrite for 6.x. Anyhow, I have attached my patch file.
In addition, I also have CVS access. It seems that the maintainer is a bit AWOL, since there seem to be all sorts of versions that are not in CVS. If need be, I can request write access for this module and commit some of the latest changes, seeing as how there is a bit of confusion over what the "latest working version" actually is. Anyhow, if anyone figures out how to get my port to work, I'll also be happy to commit that.
The patch file needs to be placed in the addnode directory. Afterwards it can be run in Unix by typing "patch < addnode_D6port_v1.patch . Not sure of the Windows syntax. This is a good module, it would be nice if the project could get organized and get back into CVS. I'm willing to help, but am definitely not looking to be the maintainer.
