Description

I enable the module, make sure everything is set up sanely, but when I head on over to pay for something using points, I get, "Checkout cannot be completed without any payment methods enabled. Please contact an administrator to resolve the issue." Using the 2008-Jun-04 release of ubercart

this is not a bug, enabling the module enables the payment method but does not enable it in ubercart. you just need to goto the ubercart settings and enable it there.

Correct. When you do this, it still does not work. Sorry, I included that with "Make sure everything is set up sanely".

Oh. I didn't understand what you meant by that but now that I do. I will look at it tomorrow.

While I am thinking about it, what settings do you have configured under the userpoints --> ubercart payment section and are you getting any error messages? And the ubercart payment settings should look like the attached file

Mine look quite like that, with the exception of credit cards disabled. (No use for the things) I'm trying to use them as the /only/ method of payment- Perhaps there's some sort of problem with that? The only error message I get is on checkout, "Checkout cannot be completed without any payment methods enabled. Please contact an administrator to resolve the issue.".

Thanks for the help!

Hmm...the credit card was checked on my screen shot because I was using it for development and testing it doesn't need to be checked if points is the only method in use. The only other thing I can think of that might be causing this is if the user doesn't have any points. Are your points being categorized? At present there is not support for that.

AHHH! That'll do it! Thank you! I had catagorized my points into a "Money" category, as I thought that looked snazzier than, "Untitled", or whatever the default was. Can I change the name of the default category, or will I just have to live with whatever it is?

I am changing this to a feature request. But I think you can change the default category name. I am not sure how to go about setting this up thought. Would it only let you use points from that category or what? What are your thoughts on that since you are using categorized points?

I have just implemented support for this in the 2.x dev, once the cvs updates if you would be willing to try it and let me know if things are working correctly that would be great. You need to specify the category for each type of transaction (award, payment, etc)

Can anybody explain what should I do when this error appears in simple words to make it working?
Set permissions, set some option, activate something, go somewhere (what URL), or what?

Ok, I've found.
Go to: admin/store/settings/payment/edit/methods
and enable payments.
