Any consideration of committing this to the module?

I added tomhung's code to my copy of Gmap 5.x-1.0 and was able to get Google Earth view working in Internet Explorer. However, Firefox failed with the following errors:

1) Error calling method on NPObject (line 185)
2) this.pd is undefined (lines 793 & 804)

Does anyone know why that might be and how it could be fixed?
