Synchronize comments from friendfeed URL on node page

If someone has their RSS feed posting items to FriendFeed, others will comment at the friendfeed.com URL. I'd like a way to display the friendfeed.com comments on the Drupal node page as well, for example, above the node's comments. Ideally displayed via PHP and not Javascript/Ajax so that the comments appear as part of the page. Even better, add the friendfeed.com comments as fully-qualified comments, avoiding duplicates.
