will the Creative Commons module work in 4.6.x ?
If not, I am hereby requesting a 4.6 version of this module.

I'm building an artist collaboration site in 4.6 and would very much like to use this module.

Has the module maintainer desisted? If so, perhaps I can find/entice somebody... at least I'd be willing to try.

There's a development release available for 4.7 as well as people interested in porting to Drupal 5 and Drupal 6. Are you unable to upgrade to 4.7 and use the version available for that version?

As there's been no response to this for more than half a year, I'm marking this "won't fix". Drupal 4.6 isn't supported by the Drupal project at large anymore either, so people should upgrade to either Drupal 4.7 (which has this module available for it, but I don't think that's a supported version anymore either... ?), Drupal 5 (which has the Creative Commons Lite module), or Drupal 6 (porting is initiated on both this module and Creative Commons Lite).
