Change username everywhere

Hello,

It'd be great if this module had an option to not only change the username when it appears on nodes, but also when it appears on blocks or anywhere else in Drupal (where technically possible and reasonable, of course). I've seen some alterations to the theme template.php file that do this, but it would be excellent to have this functionality in a module so it would be unaffected by changing/updating the theme (since it is, after all, desirable to separate content and appearance).
