Description

Just like the title says. The opposite of Assign to taxonomy term.

If you taxonomize things as "new releases", then wish to remove a bunch of them at once, doing so one by one is arduous.

"Remove from a taxonomy term" is available in the admin/content/node update options. In the actions dropdown.

If you use the "assign categories" tab you can switch the selected term to "None", or if it's multiple, use CTRL-click to add/remove as many tags as you like there. It seems to work as expected.

A further feature request - which sounds like what may be more useful to you is "remove this term from all nodes that use it".
Right now, you could
- go to admin/content/node
- Filter on all nodes that use that term
- Select all
- Update options - "Remove from taxonomy term"
- Choose that term, "Update"

OK, that's a few steps, but it's pretty intuative.
Is that good enough?
