Hey, gang. I hope this is the right place to post this -- mods, please feel free to move or delete if it's not.
I'd like to convert my Web site at http://www.tomgeller.com to Drupal 6.3. I'm hoping I can modify a stock theme for the same look, feel, and structure.
What do you think? Is that possible? Any tricks or starter themes to suggest?
Thanks in advance,

I would recommend you take a look at the ATCK (Advanced Theme Construction Kit) or the Zen theme. Both are nicely suited to a bare bones framework of layout that you can then modify to your needs. ATCK is a little more flexible since you can basically code your own HTML and replace the actual content in your pages with the PHP variables. Plenty of documentation on that project to do so.
Hope that's a push in the right direction for you. Good luck theming!

Thanks!
ATCK looks a bit much for me, but Zen will give me a good start. I appreciate the suggestions; others welcome.
