Version 6x dev of this module does not have any dropdown in IE, on a clean installation. It works on FF, but not IE6. Uninstalling dev version and putting 1.0 gets everything back to normal in both browsers. This happens in Drupal 6.3, both with and without the latest jQuery update.

meh... please test attached patch. It should apply cleanly to both 5.x and 6.x.
