I'm working on upgrading my guild's website to 6.3, so I haven't tried this yet. Mostly I'm posting this so I can "subscribe" to this module. Any chance you'll implement a filter which will catch item names & turn them automatically into the proper code without having to type [item]...[/item]? If you do this already, thanks... just wanted to toss my 2c in.

This isn't possible with a 3rd party item lookup system like wowdb or wowhead. The overhead would cripple the site, and wowdb would most likely block the site after a few posts attempted the lookup of every term. A site running it's own local version of an item database might be able to accomplish this.
