This editor has always sucked on Safari, buggy all the way. It's getting better though, just not yet stable.

Current issues,

- it appears then disappears then appears
- paragraph tags not working, when you type a few spaced lines, in view form lines not spaced as they should be

First issue is probably a duplicate of #277634: FCK not always appearing for Safari - needs refresh, there is a patch that needs testing.

Regarding the second problem: does the same thing happen on http://www.fckeditor.net/demo ?
If it happens only in Drupal, could you explain exactly what should I do to reproduce this issue? Does it happen in Garland theme? Did you disable Line break converter?
