Issue Summary
I wrote a module, View Alias, that could probably be absorbed into pathauto. If you think pathauto would benefit, then please let me know and I can start working on integration. Basically my module provides a quick way to generate aliases for views driven by term id arguments. You can read more on the project page if you like.
Thanks

I would absolutely love to see that module integrated into Pathauto. This is a common feature request and I think it would be great.

ping? Are you still working on this? Anything I can do to help?

Been tough finding the time to move to D6. Probably better served as a feature to Path Auto then another stand alone. Just trying to find the time.
One thing that would help a lot is if you could point me in the general direction of where I should be looking to add this in?
One other thing, You coming to DrupalCon in DC?

I will be in DC. Perhaps we can just discuss there.

Ok, It's still in a separate module, but i'm making use of the pathauto API to take advantage of what pathauto already does. Check it out here, http://drupal.org/project/view_alias , its the beta release. The most compelling reason to keep it in a separate module is that "Views Alias" is tied to Views, so theres no need to also tie pathauto to Views.
I have one or two more things to add in, but for the most part, it's good to go.
Let me know what you think. Hopefully we can get together next week ;)
Thanks.

Great to hear - I agree, as long as it depends on Views it should be a separate module.
