Hi, this module is not a link directory, so there is no possibility to categorize links, sorry.
It is just a plain, simple, toplist, like many others out there (none of which, to my knowledge, have been developed for Drupal except my project)
As far as the extra field to be added, you will have to dig into the code (toplist.module) and add one by using FormsAPI.
Just for my curiosity: which field would you like to add?
Bye,
Marco

I'll be using directory module drupal.org/project/directory and want to use toplist for link submission to my directory.
Extra fields
Name:
Reciprocal URL:
CAPTCHA:
Category List:
If possible also a box that contains the website link of my website that a submitter has to put in his website.
It would be great if somehow directory + toplist gets together and forms something similar to a link exchange directory. Such mixture will definitely increase the use of this module and drupal.

Hi,
I think I would agree that directory + toplist would be a winner.
I am building a list of partners manually using CCK, Views and Taxonomy modules see: http://www.mega-quick-sale.co.uk/partners
This is slow and tedious. Directory + Toplist would solve my problem (and save me a hell of time).
Kind regards,
Marc.

Following on to my previous post, I read that the directory module in D6 might have different themes for different layouts and uses of the directory.
Would it possible somehow to extract from TopList the number of referrers and layout the directory using this info please (start from top referrer in each sub category ....)?
Just a thought. Sorry if it does not make sense. I am not a developer just a happy Drupal user!
Cheers,
Marc.
