while trying to customize available theme i copied the garland theme under sites/default folder and created new themes folder and kept that theme under themes folder. and another folder test under garland theme (sites/default/themes/garland/test) created and copied screenshot .png and styl.css file of garland theme.. is it sufficient for displaying test theme in theme configuration file? but test theme doesnt appear in theme configuration page. And another problem is i moved minnelli theme folder (which resides under /garland by default) moved from there and then after sometimes i put it back to its orginal location (i.e under = sites/garland/ ) now the problem is site configuration page doesnt show the minneli theme now? what is the problem and is there any changes that i need to make in some files to bring those test theme and minnelli theme in theme configuration file ?????

Plz, plz help me out i m getting too late to start my work plz help

I can't make those words in large and friendly letters, but you sound like you need them. Asking for help is fine, that's what the forums are for, but repeatedly begging for it in an impatient manner isn't going to get you help any sooner.

1. Minnelli is a sub-theme of Garland. The directory belongs under the Garland directory, which is at /themes/garland, NOT /sites/garland. Why did you move it anyway?

2. Just because you copied a couple files doesn't mean you created a theme. You need to create an .info file to define a new theme. In the .info theme definition you can write which stylesheets the theme uses, and you can define a base theme to use. Have a look at the .info files of Garland and Minnelli and see what you can learn from them. There is of course a lot more to writing themes, and you can spend weeks or years developing and expanding a theme.

Get yourself a cup of coffee, calm down, and try things out patiently. Nothing good is going to come from hacking away in a disorganized and frustrated manner.
