i'm planning to use fast-gallery as a little contest-script, with giving registered users the possibility to vote/rate each picture with fivestars/voting-api.

is the a fast way to implement such a feature in fast-gallery? this would be really awesome.

Hello

This is going to be an architectural problem. The fast gallery isn't using the drupal node Systems. This makes it very lightweight but has some constraints -> integration with voting API won't work.

There would be the possibility to import the imags as nodes, which would bring a whole lot of other advantages but probably also some drawbacks... in the near future I don't have any plans for this feature. Maybe it would be nice to give the user the choice between a full node import and just the lightweight gallery?!
